Catherine is a nonprofit leader in Hong Kong, with a relentless passion for moving people to take positive action and equipping individuals across the community to reach their full potential. In her role as Executive Director of HandsOn Hong Kong, she leads the team that empowers everyone in the city to volunteer and pursues the organization’s vision for a Hong Kong where no charity serves alone.
Since joining HandsOn in 2016, Catherine has addressed thousands of individuals, employees, families and students on the power of volunteering to tackle social needs. She regularly delivers service programs, talks, workshops and community engagement advisory, advocating for the critical importance of volunteerism and championing the city’s less-resourced charities.
Catherine serves as Chair of Points of Light’s Global Network Affiliate Assembly, ensuring the voices of its 145 nonprofit member organizations are heard and acted upon across the network. She also serves as the representative of the Global Network on the Points of Light Board of Directors. In 2024, she was one of three nonprofit leaders in Hong Kong to receive a scholarship from the Harvard Business School Association Hong Kong to join the ‘Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management’ program at Harvard Business School.
Prior to joining the non-profit sector, Catherine led teams and ran flagship events at OgilvyOne and The Economist Group. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Technology in Sydney.
